“Unstructured” child-led free play has other benefits like developing independence that leads them to take creative risks, continuous use of executive functions, accountability, control and to stay focused and balanced on activity they chose to work on.

Kids play time must have right balance of structured and unstructured play times for healthy and complete growth and development.
